Here is good news for those who want to own the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet in India. Research In Motion have slashed the prices of their tablet PCs by 50 per cent and are now offering them at prices as low as Rs 13,490.
The company is selling the base model, which is the 16GB version at Rs 13,490, while the 32GB and 64GB models are priced at Rs 15,990 and Rs 24,490 respectively, said the company.
But this is a limited period offer, which is valid till December 31. So if you are planning to buy the one, then go for it before December 31 because the prices will go back to their original form starting Jan 1, 2012.
The Playbook tablet has a 7-inch LCD multitouch screen with 1024 x 60o resolution. Powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, the device sports a 3 megapixel front facing and a 5 megapixel rear facing camera. The tablet is Wi-Fi enabled and has 1 GB RAM.
